In Rev. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. When the harp worship music comes together with the bowl intercession , then a spiritual dynamic occurs. God determined that the worship music around the throne of God would flow in an interactive relationship with intercession. As praise is joined with prayers that present the needs of others before the throne, great spiritual battles are released on earth. In principle, we are seeking to understand how worship music can flow together with intercession in an interactive relationship like it is in heaven. This unlocks a part of our heart and unifies the praying people, helping us to pray together with one heart. We are seeking to learn how to flow more freely in the spirit of inspiration between the singers, musicians and intercessors. Therefore, we want to emphasize responsive singing and antiphonal singers that sing and then answer or echo one another.

I. Introduction to the Basic Harp and Bowl Prayer Models

Experience Harp & Bowl Prayer & Worship Music from The Secret Place
A term derived from Revelation , describing the elders before the throne with harps representing worship with music and a bowl of incense representing the prayers of God's people. It is the basic model of ERHOP's prayer meetings—combining worship led by worship teams and prayer both personal and corporate. As we take time to both worship and pray, we use a model of intercessory worship that has been called "Harp and Bowl". In Rev. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song:" The "harp" speaks of music and songs of worship directed to God; the "bowl" speaks of intercession. In other words, the worship around the throne incorporates music, songs and prayers flowing together before God.
II. Our Prayer Formats
There have been various expressions of this model used by others throughout the Body of Christ in prayer meetings worldwide. Even to this day, millions are coming to Christ worldwide. In this vision, John sees the heavenly worship as Jesus takes the scroll which will unleash the seven seals eventually leading to His return to rule the earth. Our songs and prayers are directed toward God. As when we pray for issues such as the ending of abortion or human trafficking , we are asking God to move in accordance with His Word and desires.
We are exalting the worth of Jesus night and day and preparing his bride for his return. Harp and Bowl is not a new style of worship but a restoration of what once existed here on earth and is a reflection of what is happening before the throne of God right now. We have simultaneous worship and prayer—prayers that are sung, played on instruments, or accompanied by song, with complete submission to God, worshippers falling down prostrate before the Lamb. This is a powerful way to worship God—and a powerful way to pray. During his reign, there was constant praise and worship, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week before the Ark of the Covenant. For over thirty years, they worshiped God wholeheartedly and He blessed the nation of Israel in mighty ways. God promised in Acts 15 that one day He will restore the Tabernacle of David. Harp and Bowl is a foreshadowing of that restoration, and what we do is in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David.
