Sex and the City is praised with helping to educate generations of women around sex, relationships and feminism, but despite how progressive the show could be, it was still censored. The creators of the show could only recall being restricted twice during the six seasons of the HBO classic. However, one particular scene that ended up on the cutting room floor was dubbed "horrifying," according to producer Amy B Harris.
